Description You will need: 1 package Beer Cheese Soup Mix 12 oz Beer (preferably lager or wheat) 4 1/2 cups water About 2 cups popped popcorn (some for garnish, some for munching!) How to prepare: Bring 4 1/2 cups water to boil in a large kettle. Add soup mix; blend well. Add beer and return soup to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer about 25 minutes. Stir occasionally. *For a thicker soup, simmer longer with the lid off. Garnish with popped popcorn. If you like, add fried, crumbled bacon.
