This fabric bundle consists of two different shweshwe prints from South Africa. Great for projects where you want to mix things up and suitable for a wide range of dressmaking and crafting projects. A tape measure is shown on both to give you an idea of the scale of the fabric design. The units are displayed in inches and centimetres. This will remove the stiffness of the fabric. ABOUT SHWESHWE FABRIC Shweshwe is a printed cotton fabric widely used in traditional South African clothing; dresses, skirts, and so on. It was originally dyed indigo but is now manufactured in a variety of colours and designs. It is manufactured by Da Gama Textiles in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. COLOURS: We photograph the fabric in natural daylight and make every effort to represent the colours as accurately as possible, nevertheless colours may display differently depending on the monitors/screens they are viewed on.
