If you take away some of the salt, then it would taste good. But it is a gravy or a flavoring, like bullion and should not be marketed as a soup. Hardly any beans, rice or vegetables. Who wants to eat salty gravy? That’s basically what it is. It will help bring flavor to a raw bean soup or side dish, but it and the picture is false advertising. By the way, the ratings of what each number means on here are so inadequate, that they get in the way of describing the product. This product isn’t all bad. It can be used for other things. Charging anymore than a buck and a half for it is so undeserving.
