Review by Jane Woolley: I wish there were more than 5 stars! Some of our family stopped eating meat 4 years ago. We thought we would never again experience the flavors of an old fashioned baked ham. Thankfully, we were wrong! This product is a game changer for me, as an avid cook for over 40 years, I’m excited to reinvent so many ham-centric old favorites! This has superior flavor. Yesterday I made scalloped potatoes incorporating this base into the sauce for the meat-eating members of the family & they loved them. Our vegan daughter loved them so much, I thought she might cry! ? I’ve used this in frittatas, sautéed green & yellow beans, & grilled cheese sandwiches. Can’t wait to try it in dips, soups, stews & home baked beans! My husband & I are boomers who for decades enjoyed many special occasion & holiday dishes with ham & then it disappeared from our experience. Along came this product & it may seem silly, but there’s something really nice that happens when you can enjoy those comfort foods with zero guilt.
