Description The fourth book of Maimonides’ Code is entitled Sefer Nasim, ‘Book of Women’ and its subject matter corresponds to what is called today family law. In choosing this term, Maimonides followed the Mishnah, where the title Nasim is applied to the Order which deals with family law.
