Description Directions: Brown 1 lb ground beef in a large saucepan over medium heat; drain if needed. Stir in taco soup mix, 4 cups of water and 1 can chopped tomatoes with green chiles (drained). Cook on medium heat, stirring often, until all ingredients are cooked and heated through, about 15-20 minutes. Top with crushed tortilla chips and grated cheese if desired. Enjoy! Variations: Substitute 2 cooked & shredded chicken breasts for the ground beef. Substitute 1 can plain diced tomatoes for a milder version.
