A fining agent derived from seaweed. Also known as carageenan. Add 1 teaspoon per 5 gallons to the last 15 minutes of the boil to enhance cold break (protein coagulation). Can also be used to make traditional Caribbean Irish Moss drink, if you’re adventurous.
