Description The Bach 6 1/2 AL large shank mouthpiece has a medium deep cup depth. This model mouthpiece has the same cup, throat, and backbore as the 6 1/2 AL small shank mouthpiece, but with a bass shank. The Bach 5G large shank bass trombone mouthpiece has a deep cup depth. This mouthpiece is fairly large and deep; and brings out a dark mellow tone favoring the low register.
