I am Lotus is a versatile garment that is a great blend of elegance, comfort and style. There are so many variations to make with up to 50 to choose from to suit your taste! It can be made as a top, a short dress, a long dress or a skirt. The top version is simple yet structured, featuring a side bust dart with the option for a round neckline or a V-neck. The dress versions feature a gathered skirt at the waist with pockets, and can be styled with or without a removable belt. Each version can be buttoned at the front or not, and has sleeve options from sleeveless to short, ¾-length, or butterfly sleeves. There are also two skirt styles: a mini skirt and a long skirt, both gathered at the waist and finished with a fitted waistband and front buttons. PATTERN DETAILS: All seam allowances are included in the pattern. The different pieces overlap in the pattern and will therefore need to be traced onto paper before using. The pattern will come in an envelope along with a step by step illustrated explanation guide. The pattern runs from Size EU 36 to 46. This is the equivalent of UK Sizes 8 to 18 and US Sizes 4 to 14. FABRIC SUGGESTIONS: Lightweight to medium weight woven fabrics: poplin, viscose, Tencel, Tana lawn, chambray, light crepe, lightweight denim, silk, linen, washed cotton.
